Set in Gaiole, B&B Castello Vertine is in the heart of Tuscany's Chianti wine district. Opened in 2011, it offers elegant accommodation furnished with antiques, and extensive grounds with a swimming pool. Wi-Fi is free throughout.

The Vertine Castello is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods. Guests can play table tennis and enjoy a BBQ out in the garden, or read one of the many books on offer indoors.

Very spacious, rooms are uniquely decorated with four-poster beds, a private bathroom and countryside views. The cottage is a separate building and features a large well-equipped kitchen and its own terrace.

An Italian breakfast prepared with local organic products and homemade items is served each morning. You will have free on-site parking.

Gaiole in Chianti is surrounded by picturesque Tuscan towns, famous for their wine. Siena is 30 minutes away by car, while the A1 motorway is 20 minutes' drive away.
