Surrounded by 23 hectares of land in the Chianti area of Tuscany, La Moraia is a farmhouse producing olive oil and wine. It offers Tuscan-style apartments with a modern kitchenette, dishwasher and flat-screen TV. During summer, you can swim for free in the pool with views of the surrounding countryside.

Apartments are set in the main building or in an annex within the La Moraia’s grounds. Each has wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. Some have a fireplace, and face the garden, pool or nearby woods.

You can taste and buy olive oil at this family-run property, which also features trotting horse stables.

Shops and cafés are found in Poggibonsi, 4 km from the Moraia. Siena and Florence are respectively 40 and 35 minutes away by car. You are advised to bring your own vehicle as the property is not serviced by public transport.

The heating and gas fees are not included in the apartment rate and will be charged according to consumption on departure.

A surcharge applies for arrivals outside check-in hours. All requests for early and late arrivals must be confirmed by the property. Late check-out is available on request, at extra costs.

The pool is open from mid-April until 1 October.
